Abstract The aim of this paper is to investigate the behaviour projective images groups which are finite over a term their upper central series. In particular, we prove that for any positive integer k , class finitely generated in -th series has index can be described terms lattice invariants, and so it invariant under projectivities. context, also study have only many maximal subgroups not permodular.

Infinite Descending Chains of Cocompact Lattices in Kac-moody Groups
Let A be a symmetrizable affine or hyperbolic generalized Cartan matrix. Let G be a locally compact Kac-Moody group associated to A over a finite field Fq. We suppose that G has type ∞, that is, the Weyl group W of G is a free product of Z/2Z’s. This includes all locally compact Kac-Moody groups of rank 2 and three possible locally compact rank 3 Kac-Moody groups of noncompact hyperbolic type. ...
متن کاملA relation between infinite subsets and exterior center in groups
Let G be a group. Neumann to answer a question of Paul Erdos proved that every infinite subset of G has two different comuting elements if and only if G is center-by-finite. In this paper, we deal with Erdoschr('39')s question in different aspect and we show that every infinite subset X of G has two different elements x and y such that x^y=1 if and only if the exterior center of G ihas finit...
متن کاملCombining halogen bonds and hydrogen bonds in the modular assembly of heteromeric infinite 1-D chains.
Hydrogen bonds and halogen bonds operate in concert in the directed assembly of infinite 1-D chains in binary co-crystals of iodine iso-nicotinamide (2 : 2), 1 and tetrafluorodiiodobenzene iso-nicotinamide (1 : 2) 2.

متن کاملInfinite Groups
Most interesting groups arise as a group of transformations. For example the set of “rigid motions” of 2-dimensional space R forms a group denoted Isom(R). There are three kinds of transformations: reflection about a line, rotation about a point, and translation in a direction. These form a group under composition (i.e., do one transformation and then do the other). For example, the composition...
